About
Eleftheria
Welcome—I’m glad you’re here. Taking the step to start therapy can feel daunting, but it is also an opportunity for growth, self-reflection, and meaningful change. Whether you are struggling with overwhelming emotions, unhelpful patterns, or a major life transition, therapy can offer a safe and collaborative space to make sense of your experiences and move forward in a way that feels right for you. I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and a Psychology Doctorate in Counselling Psychology candidate with extensive experience working in the NHS, the charity sector, and private practice. I have supported individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including complex trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, and adjustment difficulties. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic therapy as well as other therapeutic models such as systemic interventions, and attachment theory. I place great importance on understanding the patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that may be contributing to distress, while also helping clients build self-awareness, emotional resilience, and self-compassion. Through this collaborative process, clients can explore new ways of relating to themselves and others, ultimately fostering lasting change. Alongside my broader clinical work, I have a specialist interest in perinatal mental health and the unique challenges that arise during the transition to parenthood. I support parents, co-parents, and families as they navigate the emotional and psychological changes that pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood can bring. This period can surface complex feelings, past experiences, and shifts in identity and relationships, which is why I provide a reflective and supportive therapeutic space to process these experiences, strengthen relationships, and manage perinatal mental health difficulties.
