Dr Fiona Kau

Fiona believes in a pluralistic approach, drawing on a range of psychological modalities to tailor her practice to each client's unique needs. She is experienced in relational psychoanalysis, existential therapy, person-centred therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy. At the heart of her work is the therapeutic relationship, aiming to provide a trusting, empathetic, and non-judgemental space. Alongside her clinical work, Fiona is a Clinical Lead at a London-based charity working with adolescents and a visiting lecturer at a London university. She has previously held managerial positions in both the mental health and hospitality sectors. Her research has explored depression in adolescents and meaning-making in trauma.
