Lucie’s path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a deep-rooted passion for understanding human condition and a commitment to supporting others through life’s challenges. She has witnessed first-hand that a deeper understanding of our past experiences, our relationships and the environments that have formed our present being, offers each and every one of us equal opportunity to overcome blockages and fears to live our lives to its fullest, most rewarding potential.

Lucie is an integrative psychotherapist, trained in classical and contemporary theories and techniques. She tailors her sessions to each of her client’s unique needs and preferences, incorporating contemporary relational psychoanalytical thinking and humanistic modalities, drawing on relational-developmental approaches, attachment theory, existential tradition, alongside Rogerian core conditions and CBT techniques. This enables swift adaptation, ensuring that the work carried out is as effective as possible. Lucie is described by her clients as open, honest, caring, empathetic, warm and non-judgmental, knowing when to be more direct in challenging past patterns of thought to harness deep self-awareness and autonomy. Her broad range of work includes anxiety and panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, addictions, borderline and bipolar personality disorders, bereavement, relationship issues, generational and attachment trauma. Lucie is a Fully Accredited Member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). Equality is a fundamental principle in Lucie’s practice. She abides by the UKCP's professional code of ethical practice for matters of confidentiality, supervision, complaints and continuing professional development.
