About
Romina
With seven years of psychotherapy experience, and currently undertaking a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, I have learnt that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful healing and growth. I take a relational and humanistic approach, recognising that while relationships can be a source of difficulty, they are also the starting point for repair and change. I integrate a unique therapeutic plan tailored to your goals and drawing from various modalities, such as existential psychology, exploring existing in fast-moving modern times, time-restricted and goal-oriented cognitive-behavioural approaches and positive psychology to foster resilience and growth. My knowledge of neuroscience further helps us understand how your brain and nervous system have learnt to respond emotionally, and how past experiences and memories shape current patterns. Exploring this together can support our work with insights that empower you to recognise both helpful and unhelpful responses, and, with the support of neuroscience-informed approaches.
